Musnad Ahmad 30:1025

The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Leave me as I have left you, for those who were before you were only destroyed by their excessive questioning and their disagreement with their prophets. So, if I forbid you from something, then avoid it; and if I command you to do a matter, then perform it as much as you are able."
