Musnad Ahmad 30:1089

The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "By Allah, for one of you to persist in his oath regarding his family is more sinful for him in the sight of Allah than for him to pay the expiation that Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, has ordained."
