Hadith 30:115
'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, Malik narrated to us, from Safwan ibn Sulaym, from Sa'id ibn Salamah al-Zuraqi, from al-Mughirah ibn Abi Burdah, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said regarding sea water: "Its water is purifying, its dead [creatures] are lawful."
