Musnad Ahmad 30:1153

Abu Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, Sa'id narrated to us, Abdullah ibn al-Walid narrated to me, from Ibn Hujayrah, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) advised Salman al-Khayr, and said: "The Prophet of Allah wishes to grant you words that you may ask the Most Merciful for, desire from Him through them, and supplicate with them by night and by day." Say: "O Allah, I ask You for soundness of faith, and faith in good character, and success followed by prosperity—meaning—and mercy from You, and well-being, and forgiveness from You, and pleasure." My father said: "And they are elevated in the book: 'followed by prosperity, and mercy from You, and well-being, and forgiveness from You, and pleasure.'"
