Musnad Ahmad 30:1165

'Ali ibn Hafs narrated to us, Warqa' informed us, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent 'Umar to collect the charity (Zakat). It was said: Ibn Jamil, Khalid ibn al-Walid, and al-'Abbas, the uncle of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), have refused. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Ibn Jamil does not resent anything except that he was poor, and Allah enriched him. As for Khalid, you are wronging Khalid, for he has withheld his armor for the sake of Allah. As for al-'Abbas, it is upon me, and the like of it with it." Then he said: "Do you not know that a man's uncle is the twin of his father?"
