Hadith 30:121
Al-Walid narrated to us, Al-Awza'i narrated to us, Al-Zuhri narrated to me, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "There is no prophet nor a governor except that he has two inner circles: an inner circle that commands him to do good, and an inner circle that does not spare him from corruption. Whoever is protected from their evil has been protected, and he belongs to whichever of the two prevails over him."
حدثنا الوليد، حدثنا الأوزاعي، حدثني الزهري، عن أبي سلمة، عن أبي هريرة، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " ما من نبي ولا والى إلا، وله بطانتان: بطانة تأمره بالمعروف، وبطانة لا تألوه خبالا، ومن وقي شرهما، فقد وقي، وهو من التي تغلب عليه منهما "
