Musnad Ahmad 30:1215

'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from Suhayl, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "Indeed, Allah has disliked three things for you and has been pleased with three things for you: He is pleased for you that you worship Him and do not associate anything with Him, that you hold fast to the rope of Allah all together, and that you offer sincere advice to those in authority. And He has disliked for you hearsay (idle talk), the wasting of wealth, and excessive questioning."
