Musnad Ahmad 30:1229

Abu al-Nadr narrated to us, al-Fudayl ibn Marzuq narrated to us, from ‘Adi ibn Thabit, from Abu Hazim, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O people, indeed Allah is Good and does not accept except what is good. And indeed, Allah commanded the believers with what He commanded the messengers, for He said: 'O messengers, eat from the good foods and work righteousness. Indeed, I, of what you do, am Knowing' [Al-Mu'minun: 51]. And He said: 'O you who have believed, eat from the good things which We have provided for you' [Al-Baqarah: 172]. Then he mentioned a man who prolongs his journey, disheveled and dusty, extending his hands to the sky: 'O Lord, O Lord,' while his food is haram, his drink is haram, his clothing is haram, and he has been nourished with haram. So how could that be answered?"
