Hadith 30:13
Hushaym narrated to us, from ‘Umar ibn Abi Salamah, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The virgin is to be asked for permission, and the previously married woman is to be consulted." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, the virgin is shy." He said: "Her silence is her permission."
حدثنا هشيم، عن عمر بن أبي سلمة، عن أبيه، عن أبي هريرة، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " البكر تستأمر، والثيب تشاور "، قيل: يا رسول الله، إن البكر تستحي قال: " سكوتها رضاها "
