Musnad Ahmad 30:1322

'Abd al-Samad and 'Affan narrated to us, they said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Suhayl, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When you travel during a time of plenty, give the camels their due. When you travel during a time of drought, hasten the pace. And when you intend to camp for the night, stay away from the road." 'Affan said in his narration: Suhayl ibn Abi Salih informed us.
