Musnad Ahmad 30:1327

Mansur narrated to us, Sulayman—meaning Ibn Bilal—informed us, from al-‘Ala’, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "It is not befitting for the truthful one (al-siddiq) to be a curser."
