Yunus and Surayj ibn al-Nu‘man narrated to us, they said: Fulayh narrated to us, from ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman Abu Tuwalah, from Sa‘id ibn Yasar, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever learns knowledge of that which the Face of Allah is sought by, not learning it except to attain by it a worldly commodity, will not find the scent of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection." Surayj said in his narration: Meaning its fragrance.
