Musnad Ahmad 30:1374

Abu Sa’id, the freed slave of Banu Hashim, narrated to us, ‘Abbad ibn Maysarah narrated to us, from al-Hasan al-Basri, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Whoever listens to a verse from the Book of Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, a multiplied good deed shall be written for him. And whoever recites it, it shall be a light for him on the Day of Resurrection."
