Hadith 30:1408
'Affan narrated to us, Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, from Suhayl, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "The angels do not accompany a traveling party that has a dog or a bell with them."
