Musnad Abu Hurairah (RA)

مسند أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه

Hadith 30:1427

'Affan narrated to us, Sulaym ibn Hayyan narrated to us, he said: I heard my father narrating to us from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "Whoever takes a dog, that is not a dog for crops, nor for hunting, nor for livestock, then indeed a qirat of his reward decreases every day." Sulaym said: And I think he said: "And the qirat is like Uhud."

حدثنا عفان، حدثنا سليم بن حيان، قال: سمعت أبي، يحدثنا عن أبي هريرة، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " من اتخذ كلبا، ليس بكلب زرع، ولا صيد، ولا ماشية، فإنه ينقص من أجره كل يوم قيراط "، قال سليم: وأحسبه قد قال: " والقيراط مثل أحد "
