Sufyan narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Hurayrah, attributing it to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: "The earth has been made for me a place of prostration and a means of purification." Sufyan said: I believe it is from Sa'id, from Abu Hurayrah.
