Musnad Ahmad 30:1527

Hassan narrated to us, Hammad bin Salamah narrated to us, from Muhammad bin Amr bin Alqamah, from Abu Salamah bin Abd al-Rahman, from Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "When Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, created Paradise, He said: 'O Gabriel, go and look at it.' So he went and looked at it, then said: 'O Lord, by Your Might, no one hears of it but that he will enter it.' Then He surrounded it with hardships, and said: 'Go and look at it.' So he went and looked at it, then said: 'O Lord, by Your Might, I fear that no one will enter it.' When Allah created the Fire, He said: 'O Gabriel, go and look at it.' So he went and looked at it, then said: 'O Lord, by Your Might, no one hears of it and then enters it.' Then He surrounded it with desires, and said: 'O Gabriel, go and look at it.' So he went and looked at it, then said: 'O Lord, by Your Might, I fear that no one will remain but that he will enter it.'"
