Ali ibn Ishaq narrated to us, Abdullah—meaning Ibn al-Mubarak—narrated to us, Yunus informed us, from al-Zuhri, Abu Umamah ibn Sahl narrated to me, that Abu Hurairah said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "Hasten with the funeral procession; for if it is righteous, you are bringing it closer to the good, and if it is otherwise, it is an evil that you are removing from your necks." Abdullah ibn Ahmad said: My father said: "And Sufyan agreed with Ma'mar and Ibn Abi Hafsah."
