Musnad Ahmad 30:158

Ishaq ibn Isa narrated to us, Malik informed us, from al-Zuhri, from al-Araj, from Abu Hurayrah, that he said: "Indeed, the people say: 'Abu Hurayrah narrates too much.' By Allah, were it not for two verses in the Book of Allah, I would not have narrated a single hadith." Then he recited these two verses: "Indeed, those who conceal what We sent down of the clear proofs and the guidance" [Al-Baqarah: 159], and he mentioned the rest of the hadith.
