Musnad Ahmad 30:1615

Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr narrated to us, he said: Hisham ibn Sa’d narrated to us, from Sa’id ibn Abi Sa’id al-Maqburi, from Abu Hurayrah, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah the Almighty has removed from you the arrogance of the Age of Ignorance (Jahiliyyah) and its boasting about forefathers. [There is only] a pious believer and a wretched sinner. People are the children of Adam, and Adam was from dust. Let people cease boasting about men, or they shall surely be more insignificant in the sight of Allah than the dung beetles that push filth with their noses."
