Musnad Ahmad 30:1621

Abu Sa’id, the freed slave of Banu Hashim, narrated to us: ‘Abbad ibn Rashid narrated to us: Al-Hasan narrated to us: Abu Hurairah narrated to us—at that time, while we were in Medina—he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The deeds will come on the Day of Resurrection. The prayer will come and say: 'O Lord, I am the prayer.' He will say: 'You are upon good.' Then charity will come and say: 'O Lord, I am charity.' He will say: 'You are upon good.' Then fasting will come and say: 'O Lord, I am fasting.' He will say: 'You are upon good.' Then the deeds will come in that manner, and Allah (Mighty and Majestic is He) will say: 'You are upon good.' Then Islam will come and say: 'O Lord, You are As-Salam (The Peace), and I am Islam.' Allah will say: 'You are upon good; through you today I take, and through you I give.'" Allah (Mighty and Majestic is He) said in His Book: {And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers} [Al ‘Imran: 85]. Abu ‘Abd al-Rahman said: ‘Abbad ibn Rashid is trustworthy, but Al-Hasan did not hear from Abu Hurairah.
