Musnad Abu Hurairah (RA)
مسند أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه
Hadith 30:1633
'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from Suhayl, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The *sanah* (drought/famine) is not that there is no rain; rather, the *sanah* is that the sky rains, but the earth does not produce anything."
حدثنا عبد الصمد، حدثنا حماد، عن سهيل، عن أبيه عن أبي هريرة، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " ليس السنة أن لا يكون مطر، ولكن السنة أن تمطر السماء، ولا تنبت الأرض "
