Mu'ammal ibn Isma'il narrated to us, he said: Hammad—meaning Ibn Salamah—narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Muhazzam narrated to us, he said: I heard Abu Hurayrah saying: We were with the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, on a Hajj or an 'Umrah, and a swarm of locusts met us. We began striking them with our sticks and our whips, and they fell into our hands. We said: "What have we done, while we are in the state of Ihram?" So we asked the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, about that. He said: "There is no harm in the game of the sea."
