Musnad Ahmad 30:1669

Mu'awiyah narrated to us, he said: Abu Ishaq—meaning al-Fazari—narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever spends a pair—or he said: two pairs—of his wealth—I think he said: in the way of Allah—the keepers of Paradise will call him: 'O Muslim, this is good, come to it.'" Abu Bakr said: "This is a man upon whom there is no loss." The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "No wealth has ever benefited me as much as the wealth of Abu Bakr." He said: Abu Bakr wept and said: "And has Allah benefited me except through you? And has Allah benefited me except through you? And has Allah benefited me except through you?"
