Khalaf narrated to us, he said: Abu Ma’shar narrated to us, from Sa’id, from Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I do not want to know of any one of you to whom a hadith from me comes while he is reclining on his couch, and he says: 'Recite to me a Quran [instead] of it.' Whatever good comes to you from me, whether I said it or did not say it, I am the one who says it. And whatever evil comes to you from me, I do not say evil."
