Surayj narrated to us, he said: Abdullah ibn Nafi’ narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Dhi’b narrated to me, from Salih, the freed slave of al-Taw’amah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: A man sat with the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to him: "Where are you from?" He said: "A Berber." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to him: "Rise from me," and he gestured with his elbow like this. When he rose from him, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, turned to us and said: "Indeed, faith does not pass beyond their throats."
