Musnad Ahmad 30:1704

Ali ibn Hafs narrated to us, he said: Warqa’ informed us, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A’raj, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do you not wonder how Allah diverts the insults of Quraysh away from me? They insult 'Mudhammam' (the dispraised one), while I am Muhammad (the praised one), and they curse 'Mudhammam', while I am Muhammad."
