Musnad Abu Hurairah (RA)

Hadith 30:1721

Sulayman narrated to us, he said: Isma'il narrated to us, he said: Al-'Ala' informed me, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Do you know who the bankrupt is?" They said: "The bankrupt among us is the one who has no dirham and no goods." He said: "Indeed, the bankrupt from my nation is the one who comes on the Day of Resurrection with prayer, fasting, and zakat, and he comes having insulted this one, slandered this one, consumed the wealth of this one, shed the blood of this one, and struck this one. So this one is given from his good deeds, and this one is given from his good deeds. Then, if his good deeds are exhausted before what is upon him is settled, some of their sins are taken and cast upon him, then he is cast into the Fire."
