Musnad Ahmad 30:1746

Ibrahim narrated to us, Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Sa’id ibn Abi Ayyub, Yahya ibn Abi Sulayman narrated to me, from Sa’id al-Maqburi, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited this verse: {On that Day, it will report its news} [Az-Zalzalah: 4]. He said: "Do you know what its news is?" They said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He said: "Its news is that it will bear witness against every male servant and female servant regarding what they did upon its back. It will say: 'He did such and such on me on such and such a day.'" He said: "That is its news."
