Musnad Ahmad 30:1772

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Sufyan informed us, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "A child shall not compensate his father, unless he finds him owned, so he purchases him and sets him free."
