Musnad Ahmad 30:1780

Aswad ibn Amir narrated to us, Abu Bakr narrated to us, from Asim, from a man from Banu Ghadirah, who said: It was said to Marwan: "This is Abu Hurairah at the door." He said: "Give him permission." He said: "O Abu Hurairah, narrate to us a hadith you heard from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace." He said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say: 'A man will soon wish that he had fallen from the Pleiades, and that he had not taken charge — or managed, Abu Bakr was in doubt — of any of the people's affairs.'" He said: "And I heard him say: 'The destruction of the Arabs will be at the hands of young men from Quraysh.'" Marwan said: "By Allah, what wretched young men they are."
