Musnad Ahmad 30:1782

Aswad ibn Amir narrated to us, he said: Abu Bakr informed us, from Asim, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, came to the mosque and saw them in groups, scattered. He said: He became intensely angry, such that we had never seen him angrier than that. He said: "By Allah, I have considered ordering a man to lead the people in prayer, then following those who stay behind from the prayer in their homes and burning them down upon them." And perhaps he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, entered [for] the Isha prayer.
