Hadith 30:1799
Qutaybah narrated to us, 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from al-'Ala' ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) stood over some people who were sitting and said: "Shall I not inform you of the best of you from the worst of you?" He said: So they remained silent. He said that three times. Then a man said: "O Prophet of Allah, inform us of the best of us from the worst of us." He said: "The best of you is the one whose good is hoped for and whose evil is felt to be safe, and the worst of you is the one whose good is not hoped for and whose evil is not felt to be safe."
