Musnad Ahmad 30:1820

Qutaybah ibn Sa'id narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, from Yazid ibn 'Amr, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, the makers of images, those who make them, will be punished for them on the Day of Resurrection. It will be said to them: 'Bring to life what you have created.'"
