Musnad Abu Hurairah (RA)

Hadith 30:1828

Sulayman ibn Dawud al-Hashimi narrated to us, he said: Abu Zubayd informed us, from al-A’mash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade two types of clothing and two types of sales. As for the two types of clothing: that one wraps himself in his garment and leaves his side exposed, or that one sits in a single garment (i.e., wrapping it around his legs while sitting) such that his private parts are exposed to the sky. As for the two types of sales: they are *al-mulamasah* (touching), which is [saying] 'Throw [the garment] to me and I will throw [it] to you,' and the throwing of the stone."
