Musnad Ahmad 30:1830

Sa'id ibn Mansur narrated to us, he said: Ya'qub ibn 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Muhammad ibn 'Abd Allah ibn 'Abd al-Zuhri—and he was from the Qarah, and he was an ally—narrated to us, from 'Amr ibn Abi 'Amr, from Ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Hatib, from Abu Hurayrah, that they were carrying bricks for the construction of the mosque, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was with them. He said: I met the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, while he was carrying a brick across his stomach. I thought that it was too heavy for him, so I said: "Hand it to me, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "Take another one, O Abu Hurayrah, for there is no life except the life of the Hereafter."
