Musnad Ahmad 30:1833

Sa'id ibn Mansur narrated to us, 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from 'Isa ibn Numaylah al-Fazari, from his father, who said: I was with Ibn 'Umar when he was asked about eating a hedgehog. He recited this verse: "Say, 'I do not find within that which was revealed to me [anything] forbidden...'" to the end of the verse. An old man who was with him said: I heard Abu Hurayrah say: It was mentioned in the presence of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he said: "It is a foul creature among the foul creatures." Ibn 'Umar said: "If the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said it, then it is as he said."
