Musnad Ahmad 30:1851

'Affan narrated to us, Wuhayb narrated to us, Suhayl narrated to us, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said: "Verily, Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, has roaming angels of excellence who seek out gatherings of dhikr (remembrance). When they find a gathering in which there is dhikr, they sit with them and surround one another with their wings until they fill what is between them and the lowest heaven. When they disperse, they ascend or rise to the heaven. He said: Then Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, asks them—and He is more knowing—'Where have you come from?' They say: 'We have come to You from servants of Yours on earth who are glorifying You (tasbih), magnifying You (takbir), praising You (tahmid), declaring Your oneness (tahlil), and asking of You.' He says: 'And what do they ask of Me?' They say: 'They ask You for Your Paradise.' He says: 'And have they seen My Paradise?' They say: 'No, O Lord.' He says: 'And how would it be if they had seen My Paradise?' They say: 'And they seek refuge with You.' He says: 'From what do they seek refuge with Me?' They say: 'From Your Fire, O Lord.' He says: 'And have they seen My Fire?' They say: 'No.' They say: 'And they seek Your forgiveness.' He says: Then He says: 'I have forgiven them, and I have given them what they asked for, and I have granted them refuge from what they sought refuge from.' He said: Then they say: 'Lord, among them is so-and-so, a sinful servant who only passed by and sat with them.' He says: 'I have forgiven them; they are the people whose companion shall not be miserable.'"
