Musnad Ahmad 30:1872

'Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn 'Amr, from Abu al-Hakam, from Abu Hurairah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is no competition (for a prize) except in (racing) a hoof or a hoof."
