Musnad Ahmad 30:1873

'Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, Thabit informed us, from Abu Rafi', from Abu Hurairah, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "There was a man among the Children of Israel called Jurayj. He used to worship in a hermitage. His mother came to him one day and called him, saying: 'O Jurayj, O my son, look down at me so I may speak to you; I am your mother, look down at me.' He said: 'O my Lord, my prayer or my mother?' So he turned back to his prayer. She returned and called him repeatedly, saying: 'O Jurayj, O my son, look down at me.' He said: 'O my Lord, my prayer or my mother?' So he turned back to his prayer. She said: 'O Allah, do not let him die until You show him a harlot.' There was a shepherdess who tended sheep for her family, and she would take shelter in the shade of his hermitage. She committed an immoral act and became pregnant. She was taken, and it was [the custom] that whoever among them committed adultery was killed. They said: 'From whom [is this child]?' She said: 'From Jurayj, the owner of the hermitage.' They came with axes and shovels and said: 'O Jurayj, O hypocrite, come down!' He refused and turned back to his prayer, praying. They began to demolish his hermitage. When he saw that, he came down. They placed a rope around his neck and hers, and they began to parade them among the people. He placed his finger on her belly and said: 'O boy, who is your father?' He said: 'My father is so-and-so, the shepherd of the sheep.' They kissed him and said: 'If you wish, we will rebuild your hermitage for you with gold and silver.' He said: 'Restore it as it was.'"
