'Ali narrated to us, he said: Abu Safwan narrated to us, he said: Yunus informed me, from Ibn Shihab, he said: Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib informed me that he heard Abu Hurayrah saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said regarding Medina: "You will surely leave it in the best state it ever was, abandoned for the 'awafi," meaning the beasts of prey and the birds.
