'Affan narrated to us, Bishr bin al-Mufaddal narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman bin Ishaq narrated to us, from Sa'd bin Ibrahim, from 'Abd al-Rahman al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Quraysh, the Ansar, Aslam, Ghifar, Muzaynah, Juhaynah, and Ashja' are my mawali (allies/clients). They have no mawla (patron/protector) other than Allah and His Messenger."
