'Attab narrated to us, he said: 'Abdullah informed us, he said: Yunus informed us, from al-Zuhri, he said: Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib and Abu Salamah—meaning ibn 'Abd al-Rahman—narrated to me, that Abu Hurayrah said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "An ant bit one of the prophets, so he ordered the ant colony to be burned, and it was burned. Then Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, revealed to him: 'Because an ant bit you, you destroyed a nation from among the nations that glorifies [Allah].'"
