Musnad Ahmad 30:2159

'Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, he said: Ishaq ibn 'Abdullah ibn Abi Talhah informed us, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace be upon him) — according to what Hammad reckons —: "A man was selling wine on a ship, and there was a monkey with him on the ship. He used to mix the wine with water." He said: "The monkey took the purse, then climbed with it to the top of the mast, and opened the purse. It began taking a dinar and throwing it into the ship, and a dinar into the sea, until it had divided it into two halves."
