Hadith 30:2164
'Affan narrated to us, he said: Hammam narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn Abi Kathir narrated to us, he said: Abu Salamah narrated to us, from Abu Hurairah, he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Do not precede Ramadan by fasting a day or two, except for a man who has a habit of fasting, so let him fast it."
حدثنا عفان، قال: حدثنا همام، قال: حدثنا يحيى بن أبي كثير، قال: حدثنا أبو سلمة، عن أبي هريرة، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا تقدموا بين يدي رمضان بصوم يوم ولا يومين، إلا رجل كان صيامه فليصمه "
