Musnad Ahmad 30:2197

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Qatadah, from an-Nadr ibn Anas, from Bashir ibn Nahik, from Abu Hurairah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If a man becomes bankrupt with the wealth of a people, and a man finds his own property specifically with him, then he is more entitled to it than anyone else."
