Musnad Ahmad 30:224

Sufyan narrated to us, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurairah, who attributed it to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Were it not that it would be difficult for my Ummah, I would have commanded them to delay the Isha prayer, and to use the siwak with every prayer."
