Musnad Ahmad 30:2241

'Affan narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ziyad, who said: I heard Abu Hurayrah saying: Abu al-Qasim (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If the Ansar were to travel through a valley—or a mountain pass—I would travel through the mountain pass of the Ansar—or the valley of the Ansar. And were it not for the Hijrah, I would have been a man from among the Ansar." Abu Hurayrah then said: "He has not been unjust, may my father and mother be sacrificed for him, for they sheltered him and supported him—he said: And I think he said—and they comforted him."
