Qutaybah ibn Sa'id narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Musa—meaning al-Makhzumi—narrated to us, from Ya'qub ibn Salamah, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "There is no prayer for the one who has no ablution, and there is no ablution for the one who does not mention the name of Allah upon it."
