Musnad Ahmad 30:2311

And the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "No man who believes in Allah and the Last Day hates the Ansar. Were it not for the Hijrah, I would have been a man from the Ansar. If the Ansar were to travel through a valley or a mountain pass, I would travel through their valley or their mountain pass. The Ansar are my inner garment (shi'ar), and the people are my outer garment (dithar)."
